Standard Methods Procedures Listed in USEPA Expedited Methods Rule

On June 3rd of this year, the USEPA issued the Final Rule for Expedited Approval of Alternative Test Procedures for the Analysis of Contaminants Under the Safe Drinking Water Act. The purpose of this rule is to expedite the approval of alternative test methods by publication in the Federal Register. This is authorized under the Safe Drinking Water Act.

A total of 99 methods are approved under this rule, including a number of Standard Methods procedures. See here for a copy of the rule.
